Janet Mae Reichart

Janet Mae Reichart, 88, of Anderson, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023.

She was born on January 5, 1935, in Anderson to the late Oscar and Mary (Fadley) Massey.  She was a graduate from Anderson High School in 1953.  Janet worked as a home health aid, had her CNA license as well as her QMA license.  She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.  She really enjoyed painting and loved to be with her dogs.  The family would also like to give a special thank you to everyone from Community Hospital Anderson.

Janet is survived by her children, William (Lisa) Reichart & Lora (Chris) Perdue; brother, Rollie (Judy) Massey; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Lynette Kay; and sister, Annette Farris.

The visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, March 17, 2023 at Brown-Butz-Diedring funeral Service & Crematory.  The funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.  Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, all memorial contributions in Janet’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
