Janet Louise Adams

Janet Louise "Jojo" Adams, 69, Noblesville, passed away Friday, October 30, 2015, at her home following an extended illness. She was born on August 21, 1946, in Anderson, Indiana to Joseph and Catherine (Carpenter) Swing. She graduated from Anderson High School. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Larry Adams; three children, Daniel Scott Adams of Greenwood, Timothy Adams of Greenwood, and Catherine Suzanne Adams of Fort Worth, TX; five grandchildren, Heather Renee Adams, Danielle Shelby Adams, Christopher Michael Scott Adams, Timothy Adams, Jr., and Cassidy Barr; seven great-grandchildren, Katlin, Jeremiah, Kylie, La'sanni, Jenna, Avion, and Nyzya; one brother, Robert Swing; and two step-sisters, Leann Richards and Georgia Andrews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandparents, Scott and Muriel Carpenter. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, November 2, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
