Janet L. Lawson

Janet L. Lawson passed away on January 21, 2022 at Northview Health & Living. She was born on August 18, 1934 in Anderson, IN. Janet worked as a member of the maintenance crew for the Madison County Government building until her retirement. Janet found her spiritual home at the Church at Linwood and was a faithful member for many years. She even served as Deaconess for some time. She loved to travel, especially to Hawaii, which was her favorite. She loved going out with her friends and family. Janet loved to go dancing. Janet was generous and loving and she went out of her way to help those around her. Janet will be dearly missed by her children, Sandra Burton and Terry Lawson; her 3 sisters, Madonna Hofer, Joyce Padgett, and Christina Venable; her brother, Michael Stephen; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery.
