Jane Rector

Jane G. Rector, 78, of Pendleton, Indiana passed away July 22, 2016, after a long battle with cancer.She was born January 3, 1938 in Madison County, and lived most of her life in Pendleton. She attended Florida Southern University, and worked a variety of jobs, before marrying, Robert S. Rector.Jane is survived by her children, Phillip Rector of Pendleton, and Brian (wife, Betty) Rector of Castleton; and several extended family members.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert S. Rector; and parents, Church H. & Martha (Gwinn) Cox.Services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2016 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Reverend Tom Malbone officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2016 at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.
