Jane Lyons

Jane Lyons, 54, of Anderson, passed away November 9, 2018, as a result of an automobile accident. Jane was born October 16, 1964, in Anderson to Kenneth and Mary Hosier and was a lifelong Anderson resident. As a public servant, Jane started working in the Madison County Auditor’s office in 1987. She was elected Auditor in 2012 and served for four years. She was currently employed with Boyce Systems. Jane found great pleasure in being with her grandchildren, sewing, crafting, and camping. She is survived by her husband, Ray Lyons; children, Wesley Doty, Matthew (Nicole) Doty, Anthony (Stacie) Lyons, and Michael Lyons; grandchildren, Zayne and his mother, Jennifer, Jocelyn and her mother, Brittany, Trysten and Kaylee; sisters, Debby (Mike) Leitem, Judy (Joe) Pierry, Nancy (Pat) Chomyn; brother, Gary (Jean) Hosier; and special friends, Lisa Krebs and Mary Lou Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Kent Stookey and Mayor Ron Richardson officiating. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
