Jane Ann Parks

Jane Ann Parks, 77, Lapel, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2007, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born on June 14, 1930, in Lapel, Indiana to Francis and Dortha (Montgomery) Howell.
She graduated from Lapel High School in 1948.
Jane retired in 1987 from Riverview Hospital after 30 years of employment.
She was a member of Ford Street United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Circle One, the Helping Hands, and she sang in the choir for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Everett Leroy Parks; three children, Donna Kay (husband, Richard) Clouse of Lapel, Philip (wife, Carmie) Parks of Campton, KY, and Gary (wife, Janice) Parks of Rushville; two brothers, Jack (wife, Jackie) Howell of Lapel, Dick (wife, Judy) Howell of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Peggy (husband, David) Pritchett of Frankton; four grandchildren, Matthew (wife, Sandra) Clouse of Lapel, Andrea (husband, Eric) Jakubiak of Chicago, Cory Parks of Rushville, and Vincent (wife, Jennifer) Parks of Lexington, KY; four great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jenna Clouse, and Tia and Alex Benefiel.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel with Rev. Mark Helm officiating.
There will be no visitation.
