James Randle Taylor

James Randle Taylor, 83, of Anderson, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2018 at his residence. He was born on September 21, 1935 in Scottsville, Kentucky to the late Jeff and Ruby Brown (Henson) Taylor. Jim served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a Service Repairman for Sears and Roebuck retiring after 35 years of service. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, and especially spending time with his grandson, Marcus. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Martha “Marti” Taylor of Anderson; son, Scott Taylor of Davie, Florida, and grandson, Marcus Taylor. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Mark Taylor. Services will be on Monday at 2:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. Burial will be at Park View Cemetery in Alexandria, Indiana with full military rites. Visitation will be on Monday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
