James (Jim) Ellis

James (Jim) Ellis passed away on Saturday August 8th at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Donna Ellis whom he married, December 19, 1970; cherished son of the late Paul Ellis and Virginia Ellis; devoted brother of the late Dale (Judy) Ellis; Steve (Sherre’) Ellis; Cheri (Larry) Stockton; proud father of Shawn Ellis; Angela (Mark) Seitz; loving grandfather of Jayden Ellis, Jakolb Ellis, Ryan Seitz; uncle and great uncle of his niece and nephews.Jim worked at Defenders in Indianapolis as a Strategic Sourcing Manager. He enjoyed woodturning, making stained glass, watching grandsons soccer games and fishing tournaments, watching movies holding a dog in his lap. His most cherished times were spent with his children and grandchildren and visiting with his Mom. Jim will be remembered for his hard work and his kindness to others.
