James Dale Hosier

James Dale Hosier, 73, of Pendleton passed away on February 23, 2021 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. James was born on December 30, 1947 in Anderson to Harold and Pearl (Gipe) Hosier. In 1975, he married Peggy Rector, and they began their life together. He was a veteran of the Indiana National Guard and was a retiree from Delco-Remy after many years of faithful service. James loved drag racing, and was an overall car enthusiast. However, he loved his family and spending time with them more than anything. James is survived by his wife, Peggy; children: Jason (Megan) Hosier, Tony Hosier and Stacey (Steve) Beck; five grandchildren: Sophie, Carter, Ryder, Mia and Ava; sister, Peggy Paynter. James was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Jack Hosier, Gene Hosier, Danny Hosier and Barbara Robinson. Funeral services for James will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday March 2, 2021 in the Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Entombment will follow in Anderson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Those attending services are asked to wear a mask and observe social distancing.
