James “Butch” Woodrow Fesler II, 82, of Pendleton, passed away peacefully at his home in his sleep with family members beside him on January 19, 2025.
He was born in Anderson, Indiana on January 9, 1943 to the late James “Whitey” Woodrow and Laura I. (Sisson) Fesler I.
Butch was a 1961 graduate of Pendleton High School and was a US Army veteran. He was involved in automotive sales for most of his life.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Jill; children, James “Woody” Woodrow (Missy) Fesler III, Daniel (Desira) Fesler, Andy (Missy) Fesler, Audra Fesler, Joe (Patti) Miller, and Mike Miller; oldest grandchild, J. Woody Fesler IV plus 10 other grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Laura Lee (Gerald) Boram; and several lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Louis Fesler; and a sister, Janie Cardoza.
A service celebrating Butch’s life will be held later this spring.
