Jacklynn “Jackie” (Baker) Walker, 75 of Anderson, passed away on December 24, 2020 at her residence. She was born on August 3, 1945 in Huntington, Indiana to the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Baker. Jackie retired from the Hamilton County Juvenile Center. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed music, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joe Walker of Anderson; sons, Matthew (Jennifer) Walker of Westfield, NJ, AJ (Kim) Walker of North Bethesda, MD; grandchildren, Nick, Danny, Malique, Cameron, Kristof; brother, Jeff (Jackie) Baker; niece, Elizabeth (Edward) Levan; nephew, Luke Baker; great niece, Eleanor Levan, and extended family, Taryn, Kurt, Coltyn, and Colby Bendes. The family would like to thank Southern Care, Care Plus, and ALS Clinic at IU Health for all of their care and support. Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 310 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013 with Rev. Matt Manning officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 to 1:00 pm at the church. Memorial Contributions may be made to the ALS Association of Indiana and/or St. John’s Lutheran Church in Anderson. You may view the service by visiting St. John Lutheran’s face book page. Due to recent COVID-19 mandates, all guests are limited to 50 at one time and are required to wear face coverings or masks and practice social distancing at visitation and services.
