Jack Drummond, 80, Noblesville, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Millers Merry Manor in Tipton following a three-year illness. He was born on April 8, 1934, in Tuckerman, Arkansas to R. A. and Ruby (Scott) Drummond. Jack ran several gas stations in Indianapolis from the 1950's until 1990 and then continued working as a mechanic after that. He was a member of the Frankton Antique Tractor Association and the Central Indiana Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Association. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sherry Lynne (Muir) Drummond; one son, Brent(wife, Molly) of Noblesville; two grandsons, Jake and Tyler Drummond; five sisters, Maggie, Nancy, Wilma, Sharon, and Mary; and four brothers, Jerry, Bill, Bob, and Charlie. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Linda. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Doug Barton officiating. Burial will follow in Carey Cemetery, Noblesville. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
