Irvin Sisson

Irvin "Keith" Sisson, 82, Noblesville, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at his residence in Noblesville following an extended illness.He was born on November 14, 1937, in Lapel, Indiana to Forrest Sisson and Clara Mae (Parker) Sisson.Keith graduated from Lapel High School in 1956. He was a 50 year member of the Wayne-Fall Lions Club, where he served as District Governor and held many offices in the club. He enjoyed genealogy, where he published two books, woodworking, bluegrass music, spending time with his family, and traveling. He enjoyed spending the winters in Texas. Keith served his country in the United States Army where he served as a Military Police Officer. He retired in 1992 from Delco Remy, division of General Motors as a Tool Engineer. He and his brothers also enjoyed building log cabins in their spare time. He is survived by his wife Julie (Busby) Sisson of Noblesville; three daughters, Jamie (Keith) Merrifield of Columbia City, Jill Harbison of Fishers, and Joy Kiskaden of Noblesville; brothers, James (Emily) Sisson of MN, Larry (Darlene) Sisson of Cicero, Bob Sisson of Pittsboro, David (Lucinda) Sisson of Anderson, and Phillip (Carolyn) Sisson of FL; four grandchildren, Erica (Matthew) Mikulecky, Stephanie (Damon) Cooley, Wesley Kiskaden, and Lucas Harbison; and three great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Amelia, and Noah. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Charles, and Gene Sisson, and two sisters, Betty Borders, and Ruth Seal. He was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Rick Harbison. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 14, 2020, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel, IN.Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the funeral home.
Masks are suggested upon entering the funeral home.
