Ioma Louise Bolton, 84, Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Parkview Hosptial in Fort Wayne following an extended illness.
She was born on February 5, 1925, in Puxico, Missouri to Cecil and Anna (Veneable) Carter.
Louise retired in 1976 as a classified advertising clerk for the former Anderson Newspapers.
She was a member of the Ford Street United Methodist Church in Lapel , and the Hoosier Squares square dance club
She is survived by one son, Michael L. (wife, Debbie) Bolton of Fort Wayne; one step-son, Ronald E. (wife, Marcella) Bolton of Kentucky; two grandchildren, David E. (wife, Brandy) Bolton of Fort Wayne, and Jason Presser of Fort Wayne; three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Nicolas, and Abigail Bolton; and her son-in-law, Fred Presser of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth E. Bolton; and a daughter, Sandra Presser.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, July 24, 2009, at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel with Rev. Steve Holdzkom officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
