Inez Eileen Bess

Inez Eileen (Sparks) Bess, 66, of Anderson passed away on November 17, 2020 at Edgewater Woods. Inez was born on July 1, 1954 in Anderson, IN to George Leroy and Gladys Marie (Lycan) Sparks. On January 8, 1971, she married Richard Bess, and they made their home in Kentucky where they raised six children together. Inez was a member of First Pentecostal Church, she was also a lover of flowers, hummingbirds and playing games with her family. Inez is survived by her husband, Richard; children: Leona (Kevin) Winter, Jody McCormick, Tonia (John) Barkdull, Richard (Martha) Bess, Jr., Cathy (Darren) Whitehouse and Jason (Michelle) Bess; sister, Della McCord; many loving grand and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, eleven brothers and sisters and great grandson, Dominick. The family will celebrate Inez’s life on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Cicero Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
