Ina M. Jones, 96, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 24, 1918 in Livingston, Tennessee to the late W. Gentry & Iva Mae (Reagan) Nivens. She was a 50 year member of Bethel United Methodist Church and a member of the Alpha Circle.
Ina is survived by her children, Joyce Heflin, Brad (Gloria) Jones, Gail (Tom) Linville and Jerry (Tina) Jones; sister, Velma Dean Haston and Ruth Dale; grandchildren, Todd & Troy Jones, Charlie (Joanne) Heflin, Ty Heflin & Kevin (Adrian) Heflin, Jamie (Tom) Hause, Christopher (Keta) Jones, Jennifer (Josh) Gilman, Marci (Matt) Collis & Andy Jones, Shawn (Nathan) Smith, Dee Linville and TJ Linville; great grandchildren, Cody & Cameron Jones, Cassandra (Payton) Lindsay & Baxter Heflin, Lauren Heflin, Danielle Smith, Alysa Kirby, Levi Collis, Isaac Collis, Sophie Danford, Jace Gilman, Luke Gilman and Mason Jones; great-great grandchildren, Jerah Johnson, Ansley & Lyla Kirby; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Baxter Jones; brothers Archie (Vivian) & Bill (Olga) Nivens; son-in-law, Chuck Heflin; brothers-in-law, Ray Haston & Charles Dale.
Services will be at Noon Friday at Bethel United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Garver officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel United Methodist Church.
