Hubert A. Thompson

Hubert A. Thompson, 82, of Wilkinson, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2024 at IU Health Methodist Hospital.  Hubert was born on July 11, 1941 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to the late Fred and Idyle (Logan) Thompson.

Hubert enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR.  One thing that he really enjoyed was listening and going to blue grass concert.  He collected a ton of bluegrass albums during his life.  But Hubert loved nothing more in his life than spending time with his family.

Hubert is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Ann (Clark) Thompson; daughter, Rhonda O’Neal; granddaughter, Candis (Adrian Ramones) O’Neal; great grandson, Xavier Ramones; sister, Justine Thompson, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parent; brothers, Fred Thompson Jr., Bernice Thompson, Bill Thompson, Clyde Thompson, and Glen Thompson; sisters, Virginia Reeder, and Nadine Helderbrand.

Funeral service will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Condo and St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, 130 S. Main St, Wilkinson, Indiana with Pastor Charles Riggs officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the service.  Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
