Howard Lee Watson, Jr.

Howard L. Watson, Jr., 47, Anderson, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013, at Community Hospital following an extended illness. He was born on April 22, 1966, in Anderson, Indiana to Howard L. Watson, Sr. and Maribeth (Spradlin) Watson. He enjoyed plants and gardening, crocheting, and raising rabbits. He also enjoyed visiting with friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Rose (Steger) Watson, Anderson; three children, Carleena Watson of Farmersville; Tyler Watson and Chelsy Watson both of Anderson; two step-children Cassandra Mitchell and Nicholas Mitchell of Anderson; his mother, Maribeth (Spradlin) Watson of Anderson; four grandchildren, John Mitchell, Krislyn Mitchell, Kane Miller, and C. J. Mitchell; 0ne sister, Tricia (Spradlin) Harrison; and two brothers, Richard Watson, Avery Watson. He was preceded in death by his father. A graveside service will be a held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at East Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, Lapel, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family of Howard L. Watson, Jr. c/o Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, P.O.
