Homer William Brown, 87, Pendleton, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016, at Community Hospital of Anderson.
He was born on May 3, 1928, in Athens Township, Pennsylvania to Orin and Hettie (Dine) Brown.
He was a proud U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a 30 year cancer survivor
Homer retired in 1990 from Roadway Express after 20 years of employment.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Paula Gene (Corey) Brown; three children, Mary Ann (husband, Joe) Hartman of Titusville, PA, Larry (wife, Rita) Brown of Brownsburg, and Gary (wife, Kim) Brown of Pendleton; several loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Neil (wife, Kay) Brown of Meadville, PA; and a brother-in-law, Melvin Burdick of Townville, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sister, Lorna Armburger and Lois Burdick.
There will be no funeral or visitation.
