Hilde A. Mueller

Hilde A. Mueller, age 82, of Anderson passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus. She was born on February 7, 1939 in Wohlau Kreiss Kaaden, C.S.R. to the late Josef and Rosa (Barth) Anger. After graduation from school she went on to become a licensed beautician. She married Herbert Mueller and raised two children in Germany. The family then moved to the United States and resided in Marion, Indiana before moving to Anderson in 1970. Hilde resided in Anderson until the passing of her husband in 1981. She then returned to Germany in 1985 and shared a home with Kurt Wiesinger for the next thirty-five years. Upon his passing Hilde returned to Anderson in 2020. During her life she enjoyed fishing on Rainbow Lake in Michigan, skiing in Austria and was active in her Catholic Church in Germany She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Reinhold and Lora Mueller of Anderson; her grandson, Travis (Shawna) Roberts of Indianapolis and great grandson, Jackson Roberts; her brothers and sisters, Werner (Suzanne) Anger of Marion; Christel Albrecht of Germany; Rosalinde Cook of Connecticut; Joseph (Kateri) Veillette of Connecticut; Walter (Sue) Anger of Germany; Reinhard Anger of Germany and Sonja (Peter) Ring of Germany and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Mueller; her daughter, Ilse Roberts and son in law, Herb Roberts; her siblings, Elisabeth Walter, Marianne Murphy, Alfred Anger, Gunther Anger and Roland Veillette. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Father Dave Hellmann officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Bethany Pointe and Brighton Hospice for all the special care given to Hilde.
