Henrietta M. Busby

Henrietta M. "Penny" Busby, 90, Noblesville, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017, at her home following a brief illness.
She was born on September 16, 1927, in Columbus, Ohio.
Penny was graduated from Columbus South High School.
She retired from the former Saint Johns Medical Center in Anderson and had also worked at the Anderson Police Department.
Penny was a member of the Prairie Farmerettes and enjoyed working in ceramics.
She is survived by two children, Elaine Aldred and Greg (wife, Judy) Busby both of Anderson; two step-sons, Bret (wife, Ranaye) Busby and Randy Busby both of Anderson; a son-in-law, James Pherson of Chandler; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Penny was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Miller; her first husband, Harold Busby; her second husband, Neil Busby; a daughter, Eileen Pherson; and a granddaughter.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with Rick Sisson officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, and one hour prior to the funeral Wednesday at the funeral home.
