Helen Louise Shipley

Helen Louise Shipley, 79, Anderson, passed away July 9, 2015 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born in Anderson on June 25, 1936 and lived all of her life here. She was the daughter of the late James and Hazel (Whetsel) Shipley.
Helen is survived by her brother, Charles Shipley; her sisters, Mary Viola Ellingwood, Carolyn (husband, Roger) McPherson and Virginia (husband, Clifford) Pierce all of Anderson. She also survived by several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews, including her niece and caregiver, Angie Purkey of Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and eleven brothers and sisters.

Service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 13, 2015, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Jim Biocourt officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
