Helen Griffin

Helen Griffin, 59, Noblesville, passed away Friday, September 24, 2004, at Sycamore Village Healthcare in Kokomo following an extended illness.
She was born on January 29, 1945, in Gray Hawk, Kentucky to Ruben and Lillie (Parrott) Sams. She is survived by her mother, Lillie Roberts of Noblesville; nine brothers and sisters, Ed Sams of Shreveport, LA, Adrian Sams of Kokomo, Charles Sams of Atlanta, Dallas Sams of Kokomo, Rubin Sams of Batesville, Lucille DeBarr of Atlanta, Carolyn Schreibeis of Sunman, Mollie Menchaca of Noblesville, and Chrystlene Summers of Tompkinsville, KY; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Bill Griffin; and her daughter, Ramona Faust. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel. Friends may call from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
