Harry “Jerry” Brenner, 73, Daleville, passed away on May 13, 2020 at Northview Health & Living in Anderson. He was born on July 1, 1946 in Anderson, to the late Charles Brenner and Margaret (Dismuke) Hurst. Jerry retired from General Motors as a District Committeeman after 38 years of service. He was a member of the Lapel Eagles and Bonita Springs Moose Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR and spending time with his friends and family. He was an avid Colts and Purdue fan. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Cathy (Zerkel) Brenner; children, Melinda (Rusty) Groover of Mooresville, James (Dean) Brenner of Brooklyn, Stephanie (Marc) Fairchild of Noblesville, Patrick Donovan of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Kaleb Dowler, Nikki Dowler, Venessa Groover, Heather Moore, Madison Donovan, Grace Fairchild and six great grandchildren. Due to the COVID-19 virus, a Private Family Farewell for Jerry will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Memorial Contributions may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital or Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.
