H. Ruth Teeters

H. Ruth Teeters, 99, Noblesville, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014, at her home. She was born on December 4, 1914, in Wayne Township, Hamilton County, Indiana to Ola and Jessie (Males) Musselman. She graduated from Noblesville High School in 1932. Ruth retired in 1972 from the former Delco Remy division of General Motors in Anderson after 37 years of employment. She was baptised at the Clarksville Christian Church in 1927, making her the oldest member and also the longest member of the church. She loved to travel, go out to eat, and go to auctions. Her favorite television show was The Antique Roadshow and she liked to see if she had any of the items they featured on the show. She is survived by five sisters-in-law, Helen Musselman, Norma Musselman, Mary Ruth Musselman, Ruth Ann Boram, and Thelma Teeters; eighteen nieces and nephews and a multitude of great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 70 years, Martin Teeters; four brothers, Harry (Lois) Musselman, Wayne Musselman, Marvin Musselman, and Oscar Musselman; three sisters, Alma (Robert) Musselman Bennett, Eva (Chester) Musselman Goble, and Mary (Clarence) Musselman Boram; one niece; and one nephew. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Mr. Ron Goble officiating. Burial will follow in Crownland Cemetery, Noblesville. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, October 20, 2014, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
