Gregory H. Busby, 71, Anderson, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020, at residence in Anderson following a extended illness.He was born on March 2, 1949, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Harold Eugene Busby and Henrietta Margaret (Miller) Busby .Greg was graduated from Anderson High School in 1967.He retired from General Motors in 1987 after 15 years of employment.Greg served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Anderson Seventh Day Adventist Church, and the Lapel American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Judy (Hoppes) Busby of Anderson; children, Trent (Brooke) Busby of AR, Natica (Justin) Celaya of Anderson, Lacy (Jose) Rodriguez of Anderson; sister Elaine Aldred of Anderson; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.Gregory was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Eileen Phearson; and a niece, Darla Phearson. Due to public health restrictions and public safety, a private Graveside Service will be held, at Brookside Cemetery, 2900 Brookside Road, Lapel, Indiana with Pastor Lee Whitman officiating.
