Grace G. Halderman

Grace G. Halderman, 103, of Pendleton, passed away June 14, 2022.

She was born December 10, 1918 in Randolph County and was a Petersburg resident for most of her life before moving to Pendleton in 2008.

Grace was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Petersburg.

Survivors include her two children, Carolyn Meals of Pendleton and Larry Halderman of Henderson, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Mark (Janet) Meals of Brownsburg, Misty (Brett) Clarkson of Wilkinson, Brian Halderman of Henderson, Kentucky, Chris Halderman of Florida and Stacie (Brian) Veale of Kentucky; 10 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bessie (Chittum) Hester; husband, Harold Leon Halderman who she married December 31, 1938 and passed away July 5, 1977; three sisters; great grandson, Joshua Meals; son-in-law, Morris Meals; and daughter-in-law, Pam Halderman.

A graveside service with burial following was held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2022 at Walnut Hills Cemetery, Petersburg.

Arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dementia/Alzheimer’s Association.
