Gordon Lee Brauchla

Gordon Lee Brauchla, 90, of Anderson, passed away on October 5, 2020. He was born October 3, 1930 in Anderson to the late Carl and Daisy (Vermillion) Brauchla. Gordon graduated from Anderson High School and continued his education at DeVry School of Radio and Electronics in Chicago for television repair, graduating in 1951. He married Jacquie (Ginley) on September 26, 1953. In 1955 Gordon started his TV service business. Brauchla TV began selling TV’s and, when his son joined the business in 1978 appliances, changing the name to Brauchla TV & Appliances. The business continued until 2018. Gordon was an elder in the United Church of God. He will be missed by his wife, Jacquie, of 67 years, his daughter, Brenda Martin; son Tracy (Amy) Brauchla; grandchildren, Clint (Kelly) Brauchla, Kim (Craig) Schurr, Erica (Cody) Plummer; great grandchildren, Kiley Brauchla, Parker Brauchla, Trace Burkhardt, Jett Burkhardt; step grandchildren, Kay Pence, Greg Martin; step great grandchildren, Nicole Stephenson, Julian Stephenson, Ethan Schurr and Eve Schurr. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Carl and Zoe Ellen, and son in-law, Ron Martin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. A private graveside service will be held later.
