Gloria Lee Biesecker

Gloria Lee Biesecker, 82, of Hitchins, Kentucky, formerly of Knightstown, passed away, Sunday, August 6, 2023.

She was born February 7, 1941 in Wabash, IN, the daughter of the late LeRoy and Verna (Howard) Tanner.

Gloria oversaw the elementary school cafeteria for several years and worked production at the RCA factory. She loved working in labor and delivery at the hospital, also.  She was a member of several organizations, the Lyons Club, Home Economics, and the Business Professional Women’s Association.

Survivors include her children; sons, Gary (June) Jones and Fredrick (Annette) Biesecker; daughters, Debra Hager and Judith Jones;  brother, Phillip (Nancy) Tanner; sister, Darla Hoffman; son in law, Danny Jackson. Many grandchildren, great- and great-great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frederick G. Biesecker; daughter, Niki Jackson; and son in law; Dale Hager.

Visitation will be Friday, August 11, 2023, 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m at Condo and St. Pierre Funeral Service, 130 S. Main St., Wilkinson, In. Funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Cable officiating. Burial to follow at Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown, In.
