Gloria C. Carwile

Gloria C. Carwile, 86, of Anderson, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 after an extended illness. She was born in Anderson on November 28, 1931, to the late Walter and Ida (Ball) Burton. She was a homemaker and lived in Anderson all of her life. Gloria enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, beautiful flowers and playing cards with her family. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Dennis Williamson; five grandchildren, Nikki (Steve) Shepler, Matt (Kendra) Williamson, Linsey Carwile (John Young), Zachary (Alex) Carwile, Taylor Carwile; ten great grandchildren, Maliya, Izabella, Hunter, Hali, Shayla, Seth, Konner, Lauren, Hayden and Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ida Burton; her husband, Milton Carwile; her son, Doug Carwile and five brothers and sisters. Cremation will take place with entombment at East Maplewood Cemetery at a later date. Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory is handling the arrangements.
