Glennie Robinson

Glennie Robinson, 66, of Pendleton, passed away February 27, 2019 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born on September 12, 1952 in Anderson and graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1971 where he lettered in four different sports. He then attended Anderson University. He retired in 2016 after working for UPS for 33 years. He attended Rock Church Assembly of God in Pendleton. Glen was a faithful servant of God who loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon (Fabian) Robinson of Pendleton; his daughter, Jennifer (husband, Eric) Wiggins of Markleville; two sons, Joe (wife, Kara) Robinson of Pendleton and Jerrid (wife, Lacey) Robinson of Fishers; six grandchildren, Grace Wiggins, Lauren Wiggins, Sydney Robinson, Elliott Robinson, Emi Robinson and Eli Robinson; two sisters, Judy Kay (husband, Richard) Carpenter and Charlotte (husband, Stephen) Anderson; brother, William Dale (wife, Dawn) Robinson and several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Opal Robinson, his grandparents and his nephew, Scott Carpenter. Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Tad Finch officiating. Burial will be in Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor’s favorite charity.
