Gilbert D. Dock

Anderson- Gilbert D. “Gib” Dock, 78, went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2015, at St. Vincent Anderson following a sudden illness.
Gib was born March 14, 1937 in New Castle to Benjamin and Sylvie Dock. He graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School in 1955. He was honored and thankful to have served as a minister to several Assembly of God churches throughout the Midwest.
He treasured and loved his eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was lifelong Chicago Cub fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Glenna Ruth (Fairchild) Dock of Anderson; Children; Les (Cindy) Dock, Leisa Robinson, David (Kelly) Dock; Grandchildren; Ryan (April) Dock, Jenna (Kyle) Rayl, Shelby Dock, Brittany Shuler, Jeremiah Shuler, Chelsea (Cole) Went, Katilyn Dock, Darren Dock; Great grandchildren Tynley and Jacoby Rayl.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
