Georgia Mae Wooden, 83, Noblesville, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Riverwalk Commons in Noblesville following an extended illness.
She was born on July 22, 1934, in Pennington Gap, Virginia to George W. and Bonnie Mae (Johnson) Cleusman.
Georgia was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed playing bingo. Georgia enjoyed babies and children and also enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by three children, Gary L. (wife, Judy) Maness of Cincinnati, OH, Scott B. (wife, Gayl) Maness of Kennesaw, GA, and Melissa (husband, Dave) Taylor of West Lafayette; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Cleusman and Larry Cleusman; and sisters, Betty Robinette, Brenda Cleusman, and Velma Livesay.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul F. Wooden; a son, James L. Maness; and one sister, Wanda Hinkle.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 8, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with Pastor David Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Carey Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
