Georgia A. Edgreen

Georgia A. Edgreen, 77, Lapel, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville following a brief illness. She was born on November 18, 1937, in Anderson, Indiana to William and Catherine (Hodson) Miller. She graduated from Lapel High School in 1956. Georgia she worked at one time at Brockway Glass in the office and Fort Benjamin Harrison Finance Center in Indianapolis. She was a member of the Southern Heights Christian Church in Anderson. She enjoyed reading and read the bible through each year. She also enjoyed traveling; was a wonderful cook; and loved to watch the Indianapolis Colts. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gerald Edgreen; two children, Dennis Edgreen of Noblesville and Carol (husband, Larry) Roberts of Anderson; four grandchildren, Nicole Edgreen, Ryan (wife, Jesse)Hepfer, Anthony Hepfer (fiance, Bobbie); eight great-grandchildren, Alexa, Klayton, Shalyn, Nevaeh, Ariana, Adison, Jordan, and Justice; three brothers, Carl "Buddy" (wife, Rosemary) Miller of Fort Myers, FL, Truman (wife, Bonnie) Miller of Lapel, and Delbert Miller of Grove Hill, AL; two sisters, Janet Hobbs of Pendleton, and Avis (husband, Ron) Holloway of Anderson; an aunt, Fern McLean of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Justin Hepfer, and a sister, Maxine Galeski. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel with Elder Robert Hendrickson officiating and burial will follow. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, Saturday, December 20, 2014.at Southern Heights Christian Church, 5401 Madison Avenue, Anderson. A memorial service will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Heights Christian Church, 5401 Madison Avenue, Anderson, Indiana 46013.
