Georgia A. Barrett

Georgia A. Barrett, 71, of Anderson, passed away April 9, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

She was born January 30, 1945 in Elwood, the daughter of the late James and Eloise Franklin and lived here most of her life. On December 3, 1956 she married Paul Barrett.

She retired from Guide Lamp in final assembly. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Georgia is survived by her husband Paul Barrett of Anderson; daughters Teresa (James) Ell of Pendleton and Paulette (Tim) Brown of Anderson; grandchildren, Jesse Ell, R. Paul (Kaylee) Richwine, David Richwine; Hayleigh Ell and Shelby Brown; great-grandchildren Wesley Richwine and Lillee Richwine; sisters Velma McFarland, Charolette McWhirt, and Sue Benbow; brother Billy Wallace; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Betty Meek, Jacqueline Franklin, Nancy Redmon and Pat Murdock; brothers Richard Wallace, Terry Franklin, David Isaacs, Donny Murry, Larry Street and James Franklin; and granddaughter, Angelyka Richwine.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 pm Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-7 pm Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
