George L. Quillen

George L. Quillen, 63, Pendleton, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Saint John's Health System in Anderson following an extended illness.
He was born on January 10, 1945, in Bloomington, Indiana to Fred and Ruth (Boruff) Quillen.
George was employed as a bus driver by Hamilton Southeastern Schools.
He attended Grace Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Quillen; his mother Ruth Quillen of Bloomington; six children, Christy Henson of Anderson, Julie Rihm of Bloomington, Amanda Quillen of Indianapolis, Jason (wife Scarlet) Quillen of Kentucky, Brian Quillen of Bloomington, and Steven Quillen of Florida; four brothers, Donald (wife, Juanita) Quillen of Bloomington, Marvin (wife, Helen) Quillen of Bedford, Phillip (wife, Joyce) Quillen of Ocala, FL, and Paul (wife, Donna) Quillen of Monroe, NC; two sisters, Patricia Jean Trimble of Cloverdale and Peggy Teague of Bloomington; and fourteen grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Monday at Grace Baptist Church in Anderson with Rev. Leigh Crockett officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
