George Kenneth Wilder

George Kenneth Wilder, 70, of Anderson, passed away on March 5, 2020 at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital. He was born in Anderson on July 31, 1949 to the late George H. and Viola (Feezel) Wilder. George retired in 2006 as a Tool and Die Maker from General Motors after 37 years of service. He served his country in the US Army. He was a member of the 5th Chapter House and Alcohol Anonymous. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid Colts and Pacers fan. He is survived by his children, Sean Ferree, George Robert Wilder, Alison Wilder all of Anderson; grandchildren, Belle Turley, Wilder Turley; sister, Mary Catherine Pickle; special nieces, Andrea Lesko, Monica Browning; several other nieces and nephews, and special friends, J.T. Bahler, Brian, Cundy, and Charles Baden. George was preceded in death by his wife, Melanie Wilder; daughter, Jennifer Wilder, and special friend, John Hancock. Services will be on Tuesday at 6:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the 5th Chapter House, 1400 Main St, Anderson, IN 46016.
