George Robert Fulton, 72, of Anderson, went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2015 at home with his family following an extended illness.
George was born December 18, 1942 in Beech Grove to Charles and Edna (Burke) Fulton and has lived the last 24 years in Anderson.
George spent some years in the U.S. Navy and later retired from Delco-Remy in 1997 after 30 years of employment. He loved to bowl, camp and play cards with his family and friends. He was past president of U.S.B.C. and member of American Legion Post 127.
George is survived by his loving wife of 50 years. Sharon Lee (Hebert) Fulton of Anderson; four daughters, Jackie (Tim) Peavler of Alexandria, Terri Smith of Anderson, Tabitha (Donald) Fritz of Monticello and Samantha Fulton (Steve) of Anderson; nine grandkids; eleven great grandkids and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Eddie and Tommy Fulton.
Services will be 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Courtley Granger officiating.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
