Geoffrey S. Aldred

Geoffrey S. Aldred, 46, of Anderson, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at his home in Anderson. 

He was born on February 8, 1978, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Fred and Elaine (Busby) Aldred. He was a graduate of Hamilton Heights High School. 

He was a master carpenter. He loved fishing and golf. He enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors. He loved riding motorcycles.

Geoffrey is survived by his mother, Elaine Aldred; two sisters, Valery (husband, Kerry) Bourke of South Carolina and Jennifer Compestine of Anderson; two aunts, Joyce Aldred of Indianapolis and Judy Busby of Anderson; his significant other, Luz Matthews of Bloomington; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.  Geoffrey is also survived by his beloved dogs, Omaha and Barkley.  

He was preceded in death by his father; his grandmothers, Penny Busby and Willa Mae (Chuck) Martin; his grandfather, Theodore Aldred; and his uncles, Neil Busby and Greg Busby. 

A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46013. Cremation will follow with burial of ashes at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel at a later date.
