Geneva Lamprey

Geneva Lamprey, 80, Anderson, passed away Friday, December 3, 2010, at Manor Care in Anderson following an extended illness.
She was born on February 2, 1930, in Anderson, Indiana to Arthur and Anna (Ellingwood) Smith.
Geneva worked at one time at Venus Chocolate Shop in Anderson.
She was an avid Bingo player
She is survived by one daughter, Tina (husband, Boyd) Carroll of Clinton, TN; two grandchildren, Austin and Hillary Carroll; her twin sister, Jeanette Moss of Anderson; seven brothers, Marvin Smith, Virgil Smith, Herbert Smith, Richard Smith, Leon Smith, and Leo Smith all of Anderson, and Paul Smith of Elizabethtown, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Robert Smith and Arthur Smith, Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm Monday, December 6, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Robert Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
Visitation will be from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm Monday, December 6, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to to the family in care of Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, P. O. Box 427, Lapel, Indiana 46051.
