Gary W. Stephenson, 65, Lapel, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017, at his home following an extended illness.He was born on September 12, 1952, in Noblesville to Gene and Marjorie (Breeden) Stephenson.Gary attended Hamilton Southeastern High School.He drove a truck for the former McMahon Food in Noblesville and U. S. Food Services in Fishers.Gary was a member of Noblesville Moose Lodge and he enjoyed bowling, fishing, and golf.He is survived by two sons, Marcus and Shane; his mother, Marjorie; and four brothers, Ron (Donna Kay), Dave (Jackie), Tom (Cindy), and Phil (Kathy); and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.Gary was preceded in death by his father.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with Rev. Margie Vandergraff officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.The family would like to thank Dr. Molina, Dr. Meng, and Dr. Mares as well as his many caregivers for their kind care of Gary.
