Gary D. Walker

Gary Walker, 77, of Anderson, went to be with The Lord on December 15^th, 2023.  Gary was born on August 23, 1946 to the late William R. Walker and Wilma G. (Roeder) Walker.

Gary was a retiree from the Guide Corporation, where he was a tool and die maker.  He was an avid bowler, loved playing miniature golf, cars, and being with his family.  He also loved singing with the GuiDel Chorus, and at church.  He was an active member of the Wesley Free Methodist Church in Anderson.

Gary will be missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Kathy Walker; sons, Mark and Jeffrey Walker, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Wilma Walker; brothers, Rev. James Walkers, and David Walker.

The visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Wesley Free Methodist Church, 3017 W. 8^th Street Rd., Anderson, IN, 46011.  The funeral ceremony will begin at 12:00 PM at the church.  Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery following the service.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wesley Free Methodist Church.  Services have been entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
