Garry W. Wasson

Garry W. Wasson, 60, of Anderson, passed away November 15, 2015 at Edgewater Woods in Anderson.

He was born February 4, 1955 in Anderson, the son of the late Ralph and Mary (Sargent) Wasson.

He is survived by his brothers, James (Kathy) Wasson and Rufus (Patti Latz) Wasson, all of Anderson; numerous cousins; and many nieces and nephews.

Garry spent 30 years living and working at the Hopewell Center. He enjoyed bowling and dancing and just being around people.

Garry’s family would like to express their gratitude to the staffs of the Hopewell Center, the Hopewell group homes and Edgewater Woods for the compassionate care of Garry through the years.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Bill Lantz officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
