Fredric L. Beckley, 71, of Anderson, passed away on October 5,2019 at Community Hospital Anderson following a brief illness. He was born April 12, 1948 in Anderson and lived in the area his entire life On February 23, 2012 he married Betty Straley in Anderson. He worked in maintenance for various businesses in the area before retiring from Mounds Mall. He enjoyed playing in his pool league. Fredric is survived by his wife, Betty Beckley; son, Joshua (Candice) Beckley; daughter Jessica (Tiffany) Beckley; 3 step-children; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister Cheri Timmons; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Beckley; mother, Mary M. Banks; son, Fredric Michael Beckley; and sister, Lenora Jackson. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Rudy Lee officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
