Frederick M. Busby, 64, Anderson, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2007, as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born on October 1, 1943, in Anderson, Indiana to Leonidas and Maxine (Haas) Busby Curnutt.
He graduated from Lapel High School in 1962 .
Fred retired in 1992 from Delco Remy after 27 years of employment. He was also an ordained minister and had served as Minister of Music at many churches including Fishersburg Wesleyan Church.
He attended Old Country Full Gospel Church in Pendleton and was a member of the Global Harversters and the U. A. W. Local 662
He is survived by his wife, Linda G. Busby; one daughter, Kathleen Singer of New Palestine; two sons, Ronald Busby of Palm Harbor, FL, and Royce (wife, Amber) Busby of Anderson; one brother, Royce (wife, Julie) Busby of Anderson; one step-brother, Don (wife, Melanie) Curnutt of Richmond; three step-children, Tammy (husband, Everett) Crose of Anderson, Edwin (wife, Rita) Drews of Anderson, and Shannon (husband, Mark) Clough of Charlotte, NC; thirteen grandchildren, Randy, Shane, Alex, Austin, Adam, Seth, Tiffany, Ben, Savannah, Lindsay, Travis, Branden, and Ali; and a special friend, Gus Bubenzer of Anderson.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Rick Craig officiating. Burial will follow in Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday the funeral home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
