Franklin Frank Elliiott

Franklin T. Elliott went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2018. He was born on March 30, 1936 in Gravelswitch, Kentucky to Hazel Cooley Carey and Clark Elliott. He came to Anderson in 1956 where he met and married the love of his life, Doris Rogers. Frank was a member of Central Community Chapel, Daleville Masonic Lodge and Labors and HOD Carriers L-1112, Muncie. He worked construction for Madison County Highway, CATS, and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed spending time with his family, a good BBQ, gardening and the Chesterfield Flea Market. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 60 years, Doris Elliott; son, Jeffrey (Rebecca) Elliott; daughters, Debra Penrod, Patricia Elliott (Roger Clark), Catherine Elliott (Lee Kordes); six grandchildren, five great grandchildren; brother, Charles Whitehouse of Florida; sisters, Brenda Bambrough (Steve Miller) of Tipton, Laura (Russ) Ahern of Florida; sister in law, Shirley Rogers of Liberty Center; several cousins, nieces, nephews; good friend Merle Jones, and his Democrat family. He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Thural and Elizabeth Rogers; brother, Alton Hall; sisters, Carol Huffman, Gale Cox and son in law, Doug Penrod. Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013 with Pastor Richard Gregg officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
