Frank Lorenze Scottie Scott

Frank Lorenze "Scottie" Scott, 83, Anderson, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at Community Northview Care Center Anderson following a brief illness. He was born on October 24, 1920 in Bloomingdale, Indiana to Victor and Bonnie (Vail) Scott. He was a WWII Army veteran and was a squad leader who received three bronze stars, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one bronze star, a good conduct medal, and a WWII victory medal. He was a member of the Anderson Amvets, the 40 and 8, and the American Legion. He is survived by two daughters, Pam (husband, Steve) Wilson of Lapel, and Deborah (husband, Terry) McLary of Pendleton; a step-son, Gene (wife, Barbara) Richardson of Alexandria; four sisters, Marguerite Montgomery of Lebanon, Donnie (husband, Melvin) Kelly of Crawfordsville, Ruth Long of Lafayette, and Carol Morgan of Danville, IL; one brother, Larry (wife, Dora) Scott of Perrysville; six grandchildren, Felicia Hill, Samantha Salyers-Blount, Thomas Salyers, Donna Campbell, Ritchie Richardson, and John Richardson; and sixteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Mary Scott, Dorothy Snodgrass, and Barbara Loveless; and two brothers, John Kenneth Scott and James Scott. Private services will take place at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff at Community Northview Care Center for the care and compassion they gave dad.
