Francis J. Schmuck

Francis J. Schmuck, 101, of Anderson passed away December 12, 2018 following a brief illness. He was born August 23, 1917, the son of Martin and Elizabeth (Ashby) Schmuck. On June 30, 1940 he married Phyllis Heiney and together they raised their family. He served in the US Navy and then went to work at Guide Lamp as a tool and die maker, retiring in 1982. In addition to Phyllis, his wife of 78 years, he is survived by his children, Bradd (Betsy) Schmuck of Franklin, Jann (Tom) Warmke of Pendleton and Lynn (Roger) Werking of Florida; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Private services were held, and he was laid to rest at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory was entrusted with Francis’ arrangements.
