Foster Herschel Sachse

Foster Herschel Sachse, 91, of Anderson, passed away on September 21, 2019 at Edgewater Woods in Anderson. He was born on July 18, 1928 in Hammond, Indiana to the late George and Hazel (Griffin) Sachse. Foster retired from the Anderson Post Office as a Letter Carrier in 1992 after 36 years of service. He is survived by his children, Tina Ann (Johnny) Hinners of Anderson, Timothy David (Dawn) Sachse of Anderson; grandchildren, April Lynn (Bill) Sharp of Anderson, Scott Joseph Hinners of Anderson, Betsy Lynne (fiancé, Trey) Sachse-Baxter of Anderson, Jill Christine (Erick) Cooley of Noblesville; great grandchildren, Kayla Marie Taylor, Grace Morgan Hinners, JJ Baxter, Jonah Cooley; great-great grandchildren, Jonathon Taylor, Wyatt Taylor, and several siblings, nieces and nephews. Foster was preceded in death by his parents; wife Marjorie Ann (Isaacs) Sachse; son, Anthony Joseph Sachse; great grandchild, Larry Michael Hinners, and several siblings. The family would like to thank Edgewater Woods for all of their kindness and care. Services will be on Tuesday, at 1:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. Burial will take place at Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton. Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
