Forest “Milton” Carwile, 88, of Anderson passed away October 9, 2016 at Providence Healthcare. He was born June 2, 1928 in Anderson to Jacob and Eva Carwile. He graduated from Anderson High School and was a lifelong Anderson resident. He was owner of Anderson Rent A Trailer and was a dealer for Pure Oil. He then retired from Guide Lamp in 1990 after 25 years of service. Milton was an Anderson Indian fan and Indiana University fan and enjoyed playing cards with his family. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gloria C. Carwile of Anderson; his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Dennis Williamson of Anderson; grandchildren, Nikki and Steve Shepler; Matt and Kendra Williamson, Linsey Carwile (John Young), Zachary Carwile and Taylor Carwile; great grandchildren, Maliya, Izabella, Hunter, Hali, Shayla, Seth, Konner, Lauren, Hayden and Charlotte. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Eva Carwile; his son, Doug Carwile; two sisters and two brothers. Cremation will take place with entombment at Maplewood Cemetery.
